by Gail BowmanYour God is not a God of fear and guilt. So many times Christians are racked with fear that they haven’t done enough for “the church.” These fears are not from God!
Jesus says, “All who come to me shall be saved.” Not, “Just those who are deacons in the church.” But, “All.” If you are saved, Jesus wants you to love Him and spend time with Him. That’s all. You will find that, when you relax and love God, focusing on walking with Him every day, He will guide your path in the direction He wants it to go. So let go of your feelings of inadequacy and guilt today! You have been set free in Jesus’ love!
Matthew 11:27-30
“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father, except the Son and those to whom the Son desires to reveal him. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
