30 Days of Encouragement - Day Twenty-four

What does tomorrow have in store for you? Sometimes we would appreciate just a glimpse into the future to see if the next bend doesn’t start the path going uphill. God tells us that He will work all things to­gether for good, for hope and a future.

This is not always helpful when we are in a valley, but it is still true. God loves you and He is on your side, working for your future good. I have lived through “terminal ill­ness”, divorce, poverty, abuse and hopeless­ness. Then, each time, the road takes a turn and I find before me a gentle slope and the sun comes out once more! Praise God for He is so good, and his plans for you are for good too!

Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you”, says the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
