30 Days of Encouragement - Day Twenty-six

God does not need your money. He already owns the world and all the money in it. God does not need you to teach Sunday School. He can raise someone else up to teach Sunday School. God does not need you to do… anything. What God wants from you is your heart.

I want to encourage you that if you have given your heart to God and you are walking with him on your journey, you will give to Him, and He will use the gifts that you give; financial or otherwise. Your gifts do not have to be the same as someone else’s gifts. Also, He will not let the gifts that you freely want to give cause you to come up short because of that gift (whether it is money, time, food, shelter, or whatever).

2 Corinthians 8:12-13
For if the willingness is there, the gift is accept­able according to what one has, not according to what he does not have. Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality.
